Jo was to perform with UAE singer Hussein Al Jassmi.
ROTA is a Qatari-based non-profit organization that empowers local communities by providing access to quality primary and secondary education to children affected by crises across Asia.
It was launched in December 2005 envisioning “a world in which all young people have access to the education they need in order to realize their full potential and shape the development of their communities.”
Jo is looking forward to the performance that will give her a chance to “interact with Arab culture and creating a new diplomatic channel via music,” her agency SMI Entertainment said in a press release.
