Singapore Airlines has earned international recognition through unrivaled quality service that reflects the company’s commitment to innovation.
The air carrier topped Business Insider’s “20 Best Airlines in the World” list this year and the “Best Airline for Premium Class Travel” for the first and business classes in 2012 by DestinAsian.
It also won the industry’s top honors such as Fortune magazine’s “World’s Most Admired Companies, Top 50” and Skytrax’s Best Business Class and Cabin Staff awards.
Singapore Airlines, operating flights to 105 cities in 39 countries, has maintained a global network spanning from Asia to Australia through Europe, the United States and India.
It currently owns more than 100 passenger jets that have been operated for an average of six years. The company has recently agreed to purchase 30 Airbus A350-900s and 30 Boeing 787-10Xs in deals valued at about $17 billion.
Singapore Airlines is also a trendsetter within the aviation industry in introducing premium in-flight services.
The air carrier’s so-called “International Culinary Panel” consists of award-winning chefs who work together to create a unique selection for the in-flight menu for all passengers.
Suites and first- and business-class passengers departing from Singapore, in particular, are allowed to select their preferred main course out of some 60 diverse dishes developed by the panel.
With an aim to better serve Korea’s high-end customers, Singapore Airlines opened the SilverKris Lounge at Incheon International Airport in February.
