German luxury carmaker BMW is celebrating the 10th anniversary of its Premium Selection collection.

With the success of its premium used-car dealerships, the company has reinforced its checkup services and expanded its showrooms to satisfy people with different needs.

The Premium Selection is available for all BMW and MINI cars that have been driven less than 100,000 kilometers in less than five years.

A 72-point check is conducted before a car is granted Premium Selection status, which includes a certified vehicle history and a one-year or 20,000-kilometer guarantee. A wide range of leasing and financing options are also available.

BPS customers will also be able to use after-sales services at official after-service centers nationwide and enjoy the around-the-clock monitoring system, the 72-point check, BMW financial services and other services offered to buyers of new cars.

In 2009, BMW Korea was the first import car brand to establish a Korean website: www.bps.co.kr/index.do.

On the site, one can browse and compare all BMW or MINI vehicles on the market and even make purchases. BMW or MINI owners can also check their vehicle’s potential sale price by entering several pieces of information. In November 2014, an inquiries and answers section was added to the site along with a push alarm service for personal computer and mobile users.

“The beefed up service helped BMW Korea sell a total of 3,820 BPS cars last year, up about 45 percent from 2013. This year we are also expected to mark double-digit growth in the sector,” a BMW Korea spokesman said.

BMW Korea is planning to add two new BPS showrooms this year, raising the total to 12 nationwide. The current locations are in Seoul; Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province; North Jeolla Province; Ilsan, Gyeonggi Province; Incheon; Busan; Daegu; and Daejeon.
