Popular K-pop band CNBLUE returned home from Japan on Sunday after promoting its first documentary film, “The Story of CNBLUE: Never Stop,” which was released in Japanese theaters last week.

The two-hour film depicts the band’s daily life before its formal debut, personal interviews and behind-the-scenes footage of world tours. The documentary was directed by Jeon Yong-seung, a renowned director who produced highly acclaimed works including the “NHK Special” and “Jung Yul Dae Ryuk.”

The four-member band visited eight cities, including Tokyo where the film premiered on Friday, Yokohama and Kawasaki, according to Warner Music Japan.

“Like the title of the documentary, CNBLUE will ‘never stop.’ I hope that our fans will continue to cheer us on,” said the band’s drummer Kang Min-hyuk during the Tokyo premiere.

“We will be releasing a new album soon. It is filled with great music and we ask for your continued support and encouragement,” the group’s leader and singer Jung Yong-hwa added.

CNBLUE debuted in 2010 with hit single, “Alone” which won the group the “New Artist Award” at the Mnet Asian Music Awards and Melon Music Awards. The band’s mini-album “Re:BLUE” which included the hit single “I’m Sorry” ranked No. 1 on the Billboard World Albums Chart in 2013.

All of the members have also appeared in popular Korean dramas: Jung Yong-hwa in “You’re Beautiful” (2009), Lee Jong-hyun in “Gentleman’s Dignity” (2012), Lee Jung-shin in “My Daughter Seo Young” (2012) and Kang Min-hyuk in “The Heirs (2013).”

Over the years, the group has held several world tours and expanded its fan base from Korea to Japan and much of Asia.
