Spa cosmetics brand Pevonia has opened its first Korean branch at The Ritz-Carlton, Seoul.

The Pevonia Spa, launched in 1991 by family members of LVMH Moet Hennessy, is one of the world’s leading spa brands with skin care products provided at more than 10,000 spas of top hotels and resorts in more than 100 countries.

The Pevonia skin care products are made from natural ingredients free of chemical materials such as parabens, alcohol, lanolin, mineral oil, artificial colors and formaldehyde, and made without animal testing.

The spa offers four-hand massages by two therapists, who work together to give an effective, continuous and intensive massage experience. All treatments at The Ritz-Carlton, Seoul are available as a four-hand version for an additional 85,000 won.

There are two kinds of massage therapy: one for body and the other for face. Of them, the signature program is the “stress away” treatment designed to relieve tension in muscles and restore the body’s full energy. The treatment begins with a foot bath and foot massage, followed by a relaxing, detoxifying full-body massage and then a scalp massage.

The price is 187,000 won for a 60-minute treatment and 280,000 won for a 90-minute treatment. All prices include tax. A private couple room is also available on reservation.

The spa is open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and closes on the third Monday of every month. For more information, call (02) 565-4422.
