Hyundai Securities has ventured into the online fund market with Able Fund Market, a product that aims to offer customers value-added financial services at a lower cost and with greater convenience.

The service, first launched in March this year, was devised for ultimate client convenience, as investment information and consulting services are included.

It was also launched before the so-called online fund supermarket opened to much anticipation and concerns about whether it can assist investors with better selecting investment products to maximize profit.

The online fund supermarket kicked off in Korea in April this year to provide investors with a wide array of mutual funds from different fund families, at drastically lower fees. It was formed through a joint investment by 47 asset management companies.

Able Fund Market clients are given a selection of 1,100 public offering funds to choose from, based on their investment patterns and target profit rates.

When considering how each fund is broken down, the lineup is the widest in the industry. Able Fund Market was also devised to make it easier for clients to browse and search for investment data including on the most popular funds.

Furthermore, the fund is a perfect choice for less savvy investors, as it offers online investment consulting services, along with investment data from top financial institutions in the country. Analysis reports also are available, and so are interviews with fund managers so that investors can decide for themselves who would be the best match for them.
