Korean jazz singer Nah Youn-sun will be performing Jan. 15 at the Florence Gould Hall in New York, according to Korean Cultural Service New York.

Nah will be performing with Ulf Karl Erik Wakenius, a Swedish jazz guitarist, at the hall run by New York-based French Institute Alliance Francaise.

Nah is one of the performers selected by the Korea Arts Management Service to attend the Association of Performing Arts Presenters Conference, which will be held in New York from Jan. 15-19, drawing some 3,600 performing artists, industry executives and spectators, the Korean Cultural Service said in a press release.

This marks Nah’s first official performance in the United States, the center noted.

In the drama genre, Korean actors will join Japanese actors in Japanese playwright and director Toshiki Okada’s “God Bless Baseball.” The drama will be staged Jan. 14 during the Public Theater’s Under the Radar Festival.

Okada’s play -- a joint Japanese and Korean production -- premiered at the Arts Theatre in the Asian Culture Center in Gwangju last September.

Ambiguous Dance Company, a contemporary dance company based in Seoul, will perform “Rhythm of Humans” at the New York City Center Jan. 15-16, Korean Cultural Service New York said.
