The president of Seoul International Women’s Association is staging her first solo exhibition “37 Degrees” at the Insa Arts Center, Insadong, from Jan. 19-24.
The second non-Korean to get a BA degree in Fine Arts from Seoul’s Hongik University, Lily Joenoes van Bunnik will display about 55 of her vibrantly-colored paintings.
Bunnik, from Indonesia, took up art when she moved to Korea in 2005 and depicts her experiences as a foreigner, a student, a wife and a mother.
