Fashion choices by K-pop girl groups at Thursday's Seoul Music Awards rang similar notes that sounded distinctly like wedding bells.
Apink arrived looking like they were ready to tie the knot, wearing all-white dresses in lace, satin, chiffon and tulle. The singers completed their bridal-inspired outfits with silver jewelry and white pumps.
If Apink was Odette, Girls' Generation subgroup TaeTiSeo was Odile. The trio wore black outfits, though Taeyeon sported a white floor-sweeping train while Seohyun was draped in a sheer chiffon shawl.
Girl's Day showcased ultramarine versions of the red velvet side-slit dresses they wore onstage at the Golden Disc Awards on Jan. 14 and 15. The ankle-length dresses were identically embellished with white beads.
In contrast to the predominant swan-like trend, Sistar appeared on the red carpet in green tribal-inspired print outfits together with arm candy hip-hop singer Junggigo. Member Soyou put in a separate appearance in all-but-groom wedding attire, consisting of a lace corset bodice gown.
The 24th Seoul Music Awards took place on Thursday in eastern Seoul. K-pop boy group EXO took home the coveted Grand Prize of the evening, while BEAST bagged the Best Album Award.
Apink, TaeTiSeo, Girl's Day and Sistar each took home a Main Award, alongside eight other bands.
