An American artist has become an Internet celebrity after posting her animal-lipstick creations on her website, Daily Mail reported.

Paige Thompson, 21, from Texas, spends half an hour in front of a mirror to paint each animal-lipstick creation. She has so far created a number of animals including a fox, panda, chameleon, crab, hippo and bumblebee, using colors of white, red, blue, yellow, green, black and white.

Paige came up with an idea of the eye-catching designs after feeling weary of out-of-date Halloween make-ups and watching the face-paintings of other artists.

“I chose to do animals because I had already done the bumblebee, so I thought I could expand upon the animal kingdom, the young artist said, adding, "After all, there are so many animals, I don't think I'll ever run out of ideas."

The art student is planning to apply more animals on her lips including a monkey, parrot and zebra.

"자신이 그려넣을 수 있는 동물들이 많이 남아있기 때문에 전혀 동물 때문에 전혀 문제 될 것이 없다"고 자신있게 주장하는 미술학도 페이지는 원숭이, 앵무새, 얼룩말 외에 더 많은 동물들을 입술에 새겨 넣을 예정이라고 한다.
