A photo scavenger hunt is being held in Seoul to support African women and children affected by HIV/AIDS.

The competition is being held to raise money for the Hillcrest AIDs Center in South Africa. Residents of the center in the country’s KwaZulu-Natal Province hand-craft little dolls that are now sold by volunteers around the world to support the facility.

Entrance in The 4th Annual Little Travellers Photo Scavenger Hunt is 15,000 won per person ― which includes a Little Traveller doll and food after the event.

The contest, which is being sponsored by Beer O’clock bar, will start at 1:30 p.m. on June 2 at Seoul’s City Hall Subway Station. Participation is limited to 15 teams of four people, who should register by May 31.

Each team is required to have two digital cameras with video and sound features.

To register, e-mail korea@littletravellers.net with a team name, participants’ names and contact details, also indicating the name of the team captain. Individuals may also register and be paired up with a team on the day. People may be able to join on the day by paying a 20,000 won entrance fee if there are still spaces available.

Last year’s scavenger hunt raised almost 800,000 won for the center, and the Rubber Soul fund-raising music festival in Hongdae in December raised almost 9 million won.
