Bird eye view of Michael Jackson’s home now available to tourists

A helicopter operator in the U.S. has introduced a flight tour over Neverland Ranch, the home of legendary pop star Michael Jackson.

To commemorate the 2nd anniversary of Michael Jackson’s death, Channel Island Helicopters will allow visitors to fly over the house for 30 minutes.

The service will only be provided for two days, June 24 and 25. Running between 9 a.m. and sunset, the helicopter ride costs about $175 per person, and $500 when 3 people reserve it together.

Michael Jackson, who passed away on June 25, 2009, lived in Neverland for almost 20 years.

Tourists will also be able to throw red roses out the aircraft in remembrance of the world’s beloved vocalist.

헬기 운영회사 `채널 아일랜드 헬리콥터‘는 이달 24일부터 이틀간 매일 오전 9시부터 저물녘까지 샌타바버라 지역에 있는 네버랜드 상공을 30분간 헬기로 비행하는 상품을 내놓았다고 미 언론이 20일 전했다.

요금은 1인당 175달러(약 19만원). 3명이 헬기를 1대 예약하면 500달러(약 54만1천원)를 내야 한다.

헬기 회사 측은 이미 100명이 예약했고, 이달 25일까지 많은 자리가 남아 있다고 밝혔다.

2009년 6월 25일 세상을 떠난 잭슨은 생전에 네버랜드에서 수년간 살았다.

옌예전문가십사이트 티엠지닷컴(TMZ.COM)은 이 헬기 상품을 이용하는 승객은 네버랜드 상공에서 잭슨이 생전에 가장 좋아했던 붉은 장미를 헬기 밖으로 던지며 그를 추모하는 시간을 가질 것이라고 전했다.
