The Korea Center for Nonviolent Communication is holding a celebration this Friday at 6 p.m. in honor of the growth they’ve experienced in the past six years since opening.
“The center is a regional nonprofit organization that supports the learning and sharing of nonviolent communication, promoting quality human connections where compassionate giving and receiving is inspired,” said Anne Walton, a certified trainer at the center.
Classes and practice groups at the center help people learn how to express themselves honestly without judging, blaming or criticizing. Upcoming sessions include “Advanced Training in NVC” on July 16 and 17 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. as well as “Creating Workplaces Where People Thrive” from Aug. 8-18.
Friday’s evening celebration will include snacks, music and entertainment as well as a bazaar. The center is located near Sinchon Subway Station’s Exit 1. For more information about the celebration, classes or for directions, call (02) 6085-5585 or email nvc@krnvc.org.
