Police in Gyeonggi Province have sought an arrest warrant for a 24-year-old man who used a stun gun on a teenager in order to sexually abuse her on Friday.

The man, who is only identified with his surname Kim, brought the electric shock device from his home in the morning and searched for a target around the Gangnam area in southern Seoul.

According to the Suwon Seobu Police Station, Kim was attracted to a woman who had drinks with her boyfriend and stalked them.  

As the couple went into a motel on Thursday, the suspect holed up in a room next door and waited until the boyfriend went out.

Kim hit the woman with a stun gun after sneaking into her room and sexually assault her in his room.

Police are making inquiries into the case.

20대男, 모텔까지 따라가 전기충격기로..

경기도 수원 서부경찰서는 전기충격기를 사용해 10대 여성을 성폭행한 혐의(특수강간)로 김모(24)씨에 대해 구속영장을 신청했다고 16일 밝혔다.

김씨는 지난 15일 오전 7시20분께 수원시 팔달구 매산로의 한 모텔에서 307호에 묶고 있던 A양에게 전기충격기를 사용한 뒤 옆 방(306호)으로 끌고가 성폭행한 혐의 를 받고 있다.

경찰 조사결과 김씨는 A양이 남자친구와 함께 모텔로 들어가는 것을 몰래  지켜 보다 뒤따라간 뒤 남자친구가 잠깐 방에서 나간 사이 범행을 저지른 것으로  드러났 다.

김씨는 이날 오전 5시께 전기충격기를 들고 집에서 나와 범행 대상을 물색하다 인근 로데오거리에서 남자친구와 함께 술을 마시던 A양에게 호감을 느꼈다고 경찰에 진술했다. 

경찰은 김씨 등을 상대로 정확한 범행 경위를 조사하는 한편 여죄가 더 있을 가 능성을 열어두고 수사를 벌이고 있다.
