A 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of groping pedestrians while riding his motorcycle, police said Wednesday.

According to Seoul Gangseo police, the suspect had randomly molested pedestrians at least 13 times over the last three months. The suspect allegedly approached young women on his motorcycle, touched them inappropriately and fled.

He mainly preyed on young women wearing skirts, although police added a middle school student was among his victims.

The suspect is believed to have committed the crimes while working as a food delivery person. He covered his license plate with paper to avoid being caught.

Police caught the suspect after a report from an alleged victim was made last week in Gangseo, west Seoul. They analyzed the CCTV footage from the crime scene and identified the suspect.

Police are investigating further to see if there are more victims.

범행 대상은 주로 치마를 입은 젊은 여성이었으며 피해자 중에는 중학생도 있다고 경찰은 전했다.

신고를 접수한 경찰은 폐쇄회로(CC)TV를 분석, 범행에 사용된 오토바이를 타고 가는 박씨를 불러세워 검거했다.

경찰은 신고되지 않은 박씨의 범행이 더 있을 것으로 보고 조사 중이다.
