The Seoul Global Business Support Center will hold a lecture on April 17 to answer questions foreign entrepreneurs might have concerning starting a business in Korea.

Karim Khouider, co-founder of Direct Optic, will discuss his story and answer questions about starting and running a foreign business in Seoul, what it takes to make a business successful and the steps and difficulties foreign entrepreneurs have to go through when starting a company, officials said.

Founded in Seoul in 2008, Direct Optic is a retailer of eyewear products on the European markets. The company employs 30 employees, has offices in Korea and France and raised several million euros in funding last year to pursue growth and compete against traditional opticians.

A question and answer session will follow his lecture and the event will also offer opportunities to network.

To register or for queries, contact Simon Hong at seoulsimon@naver.com or call (02) 6001-7243. The event is free of charge.
