The Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas and InterContinental Seoul COEX offer a series of customized classes to share the expertise gained while hosting the ASEM, G20, and Nuclear Security Conference. The classes, which are for the most part made up of cooking classes and table manner classes, require a minimum of eight students. Participants are able to choose the time and method of instruction as well as the restaurant where it will be held.
In the cooking classes, the courses are chosen by the students. A 5-star hotel chef will talk about each of the dishes, garnishing the lecture with an explanation of his own preparation methods and interesting anecdotes. The table manners classes can be taught at a beginner, intermediate, and advanced level depending.
Interested parties should make reservations at least three weeks in advance. The price for the cooking class is 150,000 won for lunch and 200,000 won for dinner. The table manners class costs 100,000 won for lunch and 150,000 won for dinner. Prices are exclusive of tax and service charge. For more details, call (02) 559-7329.
