A 42-year-old Lebanese man who lived on the run for 11 years after killing a young cabaret singer in London now faces around 30 years behind bars, the Daily Mail reported.

CCTV footage clearly shows Yousseff Wahid in Heathrow airport right before he was getting ready to dump a body of Fatima Kama in a huge suitcase.

Although two women in the airport found the suitcase soon after Wahid threw it away, he was able to fly to Bahrain without getting caught. British detectives finally tracked him down to Bahrain and brought him back to court. Wahid was then convicted of murder.

Detectives found Wahid in Bahrain living under the false name of Ibrahim Hadid with his wife and children.

Wahid’s fingerprints and semen were found all over Kama’s body, but he denies all charges against him.

“I really don’t know what to say. I did not murder Fatima Kama, that’s all I can say,” Wahid was quoted as saying by the Daily Mail.

The prosecutor said Wahid’s interest in Kama started when they shared a small apartment. However, Kama who worked as a cabaret singer had no interest in him. Wahid and Kama were still sharing the apartment when he killed her.
