Fraser Suites in Insa-dong celebrates year-end with concerts

Fraser Suites Insa-dong, Seoul hosted an opera night on Dec. 6 as part of its pre-Christmas celebration and to express gratitude to its long-term guests. The “Night at the Opera” featured famous songs from operas and Christmas carols sung by celebrated singers in Korea.
The two-hour event featured performances by singer Choi Si-sun, soprano Yoon Ji-young and tenor Yang Seung-yeop, who captured the audience with stunning performances and beautiful and joyful voices in celebration of the Christmas holiday.
Participants were greeted with popular songs such as “O Sole Mio,” “Habanera” from the opera Carmen and “Time to Say Goodbye” in the first part of the event, and then cheered by popular Christmas carols such as “White Christmas” and “O Holy Night” toward the end.
The annual year-end event attracts important figures from diplomatic circles and corporations. This year, foreign ambassadors in Korea including the Chilean Ambassador and officials from the German and Argentinean embassies attended the event.
“Everyone was very happy about the party. Many customers told us they were happy with the food and music,” said Kim Ji-na, in charge of sales and public relations at the residence.
Fraser Suites Insadong, Seoul is surrounded by famous tourist destinations downtown such as palaces, museums, traditional markets and theaters, enabling guests to explore diverse aspects of Korea.
