Yoo Yeol, 51, a renowned singer and musical producer, announced his plans to marry his girlfriend, who is 15 years his junior.

Yoo made the news public on June 7 through a company responsible for planning the marriage.

“For her, I want to be a nice bridegroom and for us to be a couple that supports each other,” Yoo said.

His girlfriend studied classical music in college, and then child education and culture as well. The wedding ceremony will be held at Somang Church on June 15 behind closed doors.

Yoo hinted at his impending wedding on a radio program earlier this year.
