KOTESOL hosts its annual Spring National Conference at KAIST, in Daejeon on May 14.
The conference will feature more than 60 presentations and workshops.
The theme of this year’s conference is “Ten Years In: Advancing Korean TESOL in the 21st Century”.
The plenary speaker is Jason Renshaw, owner of one the world’s most popular English teaching blogs, who will talk about materials development for language learning for the next 10 years.
In addition, there will be featured webinars by Barbara Sakamoto, Dr. Rob Waring, David Deubelbeiss and Paul Preibisch.
There will be presentations on research, using interactive technology in the classroom, and practical teaching methods for young learners. Commercial presentations featuring state-of-the-art interactive technology will also be offered.
The conference runs from 9:30 a.m.-6 p.m. with an optional dinner reception from 6-8 p.m. Pre registration is recommended for discounted admission. The cost is 15,000 won for members and 25,000 won for non-members.
