Korea’s beer-making fraternity will try to out-brew each other at Homebrew Korea’s “Brew Your Hops Off” contest at Oktoberfest in Gangnam on May 14th

There will be three categories ― pale ales and IPAs, stouts and dark beers and lager, wheat and specialty beers.

Contestants must bring at least 500 ml of beer per entry, although

Unlimited house pilsner, weizen and dunkel will be available and each table of 4 will also get a chef’s salad, nachos, and a plate of sausages. Entrance is 30,000 won per person in advance or 35,000 won at the door.

Doors open at 1 p.m. and the free beer stops flowing at 5 p.m.
