BTS fans are in for a treat as speculation continues to grow over the next collaboration between the K-pop sensation and other pop stars.

Canadian pop singer-songwriter Shawn Mendes became the latest artist to hint at working with BTS when he told listeners of Kiss 92.5’s “Roz & Mocha Show” last month that a BTS collaboration “will happen.”

“I have no lyrics on their collaboration yet. It’ll happen,” Mendes told Damnit Maurie from the show, while declining to give a specific date.

The group previously said that they had spoken to Shawn Mendes and Troye Sivan while speaking to People magazine in late May.

The report sent a shockwave through Twitter, with ecstatic fans listing all the artists speculated to be working with the K-pop group including Mendes, Zedd, and Honne.

“This year will be the year of collaborations. Get ready Army!!” one user wrote in excitement, with “Army” referring to the name of BTS’ official fan club.

Another user tweeted at Mendes, asking, “Are you sure about the collaboration with @BTS_twt ? Please tell us.”

Meanwhile, DJ and producer Zedd also hinted at what could be another major BTS collaboration following its track “The Truth Untold,” which the group worked on with American DJ Steve Aoki.

Speaking to Filipino TV channel Myx in April, Zedd said, “We are definitely talking about it. We want to collaborate on a song.”

Zedd, who has four top-10 singles with the likes of Ariana Grande and Foxes, also talked about the difficulties that come with collaborations.

“It’s a mix of finding the right time and the right song, ’cause not every song makes sense for both groups,” the artist said, while assuring fans that a BTS collaboration is going to happen, hopefully this year.

Australian singer Troye Sivan was also asked about collaborating with BTS during an interview with San Diego radio station Z90.3 in February.

“I don’t know. That would be so fun. I felt way down the (rabbit) hole the other night and was like watching all the music videos and stuff.”

BTS previously worked with Andrew Taggart from the Chainsmokers for its fifth EP “Love Yourself: Her.”

Rapper RM, a member of the group, was featured in the remix of Fall Out Boy’s song “Champion” in 2017.

The group also worked with Steve Aoki for its third Korean studio album “Love Yourself: Tear,” which became the first K-pop album to top the US albums chart in May, making the group the highest-charting act in Asia.
