KORAIL is offering a special “healing” travel program that allows visitors to take a relaxing trip to national recreational forest lodges and support local businesses. The program, “KTX ― to the Woods,” began on Aug. 21 and includes a variety of courses with allocated lodgings in Gangneung’s Daegwallyeong, Jeongseon’s Mount Gariwang, Namhae’s Pyeonbaek, and Mount Bangjang forest lodge where visitors can easily find places to stay and sights to see.
The course to Namhae’s Pyeonbaek costs 192,000 won per person and includes round-trip tickets from Seoul Station, meals, and visits to key locations in Namhae such as Namhae German Village and Geumsan. The Gariwang Mountain Recreational Forest course leaves from Cheongnyangni Station and arrives at Jeongseon Station, where visitors can experience riding rail bikes and sightsee for 155,000 won per person.
