“Denmark Kids Fair” -- a symposium of diverse children’s brands from Denmark – will be held at the Hyundai Department store in Pangyo, Gyeonggi Province, from May 2 to 8.
Organized by the Danish embassy in celebration of Children’s Day on May 5, the event will showcase popular brands, including Flexa and Steens for furniture, Lego and Plus-Plus for toys and Rice for tableware.
Participants will have a chance to receive giveaways through social media, alongside lucky draws. There will also be discounted prices on products.
Event coordinator and commercial officer Julia Kim noted that the “Nordic Wave” has taken Korean consumers by storm in recent years.
“Increasing numbers of young Korean parents are turning (their) attention to Scandinavia to seek parenting tips combining play and learning, and they are also more interested in children’s products,” she said.
Denmark is home to numerous internationally acclaimed interior designers and architects, particularly in modern design. Danish children’s brands are famous for their high standards in environmental and safety considerations as well as functionality and aesthetics.
