대구 달서경찰서는 18일 부부싸움 끝에 결혼 3개월째인 아내의 목을 졸라 숨지게 한 혐의(살인)로 김모(31)씨를 구속했다.

김씨는 지난 13일 오후 10시30분께 대구 달서구 자신의 빌라에서 아내가 여자 친구들끼리만 여행을 다녀왔다며 심한 말다툼을 하다가 홧김에 두 손으로 아내의 목을 졸라 숨지게 함 혐의를 받고 있다.

김씨는 부부싸움 중에 “죽여 봐라”며 대든다는 이유로 신혼 3개월째인 아내를 살해한 뒤 달아났다가 3일만에 경찰에 붙잡혔다.

Newlywed woman killed by husband

Police in Daegu arrested a 31-year-old man on Monday on homicide charges for strangling his newlywed wife after a quarrel.

The man identified only by his surname Kim had an argument with his wife last Wednesday after he rebuked her for going on a trip with her friends. They were married three months ago.

The man reportedly told police that he became furious when she challenged him. She told him to kill her if he had the guts to do it.

After the crime he ran away and was caught Saturday.
