Korail will operate the “Tong Tong Tong Snow Train” to Mount Taebaek starting next month, offering travelers the chance to enjoy a snow covered mountain this winter.
Leaving Seoul Station at 7:59 a.m. on Feb. 1-5, 8, 10-12, 17-19, 22, and 24-26, the train will arrive at Chujeon Station while passengers can enjoy a variety of events, snack and live music aboard the train.
A bus will pick up the passengers from the station, dropping them off at the Mount Taebaek Provincial Park, from where travelers can climb the snow covered mountain. Travelers will take a look around the world’s largest coal museum located within the mountain and rest at a sauna. Lunch will be served at the Dahanuchon, where travelers will eat first-class Korean beef.
