Probationary Theater Company is running another installment of its “Play in Day” series on March 17.
Participants meet at White Box Theater at 9 a.m. and are assigned into groups of four to seven people.
They then have to come up with an original 15-20 minute play from scratch and perform it in front of an audience at 8 p.m. the same day.
The plays should be connected to a given theme, which is not revealed until the day of the event. Previous themes have been a hotel room, fruit and the seven deadly sins.
Probationary’s artistic director Desiree Munro says this time the theme will incorporate the playfulness of the group’s spring season.
Participation is free. You can register to take part at http://www.probationarytheatre.com/PIAD.html.
The performances will be at White Box Theater near Hyochang Park Station. Tickets are 10,000 won, and doors open 7:30 p.m.
