The Wolfhound pub in Busan’s Haeundae is running an “Acoustic Showdown” for four weeks starting Friday.

The event will feature solo singers fighting it out for a top prize of 500,000 won. Second and third prizes are 200,000 won and 100,000 won. Judging will be done by a panel.

Entrants should sing one cover and two original songs or two original songs and one cover, armed only with their voice and an acoustic guitar.

There will be three heats taking place on consecutive Fridays and starting at 9:30 p.m. The final will be on April 27.
