Booking tickets for K-Pop concerts is now easier for foreign fans thanks to a new reservation website for Korean pop and cultural performances.

The new website, created by the Korea Tourism Organization jointly with Interpark, one of Korea’s largest online shopping malls, enables visitors to browse current and upcoming concerts and performances, as well as choose seats and buy tickets by credit card.

Concerts available for booking on the website (www.kperformance.org) range from K-Pop and musicals to traditional cultural performances and classical music. The website also offers information on restaurants and tourist attractions near the concert halls. Information is provided in four languages, including English, Japanese and Chinese.

Currently reservations are open for popular musicals and concerts including “Jump,” “B-Boy Musical Marionette,” “Hwarang,” “Nanta,” “Seoul Jazz Festival” and singer Jung Dong-ha’s concert in Seoul. Tickets to popular plays such as “Liar” and “Boeing Boeing” are also available.

Users can check open seats before proceeding to the payment process. It also offers last-minute deals that provide discounts of up to 60 percent.

To celebrate the website launch, it is offering 50 percent discounts for regular cultural performances and gifts to those who make reservations on the website.
