South Jeolla Province and the Korea Tourism Organization launched a campaign to attract tourists to the region’s fall destinations. The “Jeonnam, Korea Maple Beauty” campaign will target Asian tourists, especially those from Hong Kong, and offer special travel packages that include visits to places known for their vibrant fall foliage. South Jeolla’s Naejangsan Mountain is one of the most famous autumn attractions for the vivid colors of its maple trees. Tourists visiting the province are offered its signature natural sea salt. The region is holding a Facebook contest titled “Chingu Korea,” with round-trip flight tickets, discount coupons and gifts from South Jeolla Province as prizes.
