Actor Song Seung-heon on Monday hosted a surprise question-and-answer event to celebrate the successful release of the film “Obsessed,” in which he costarred with actress Im Ji-yeon.
Song wrote on his Twitter page, “Box office No.1! Please put #인간중독 (‘Obsessed’) and feel free to ask questions to Kim Jin-pyeong of ‘Obsessed.’”
The actor said he will select 20 questions and put up responses, starting 7 p.m. (Korea time) on May 21.
The event comes four days after the May 14 release of “Obsessed,” directed by Kim Dae-woo, which drew about 716,00 viewers nationwide.
The military romantic melodrama topped the box office ratings on Sunday, beating Hollywood blockbusters “Transcendence” and “Godzilla,” released on May 14 and 15 respectively.
Set in 1969 at the end of the Vietnam War, the film portrays the story of a married colonel, Kim Jin-pyeong, played by Song Seung-heon, who falls in love with his officer’s wife, Jong Ga-heun, played by In Ji-yeon.
