Kris, the embattled leader of EXO-M, posted a picture of his handwritten letter on Weibo to express his feelings about filing a lawsuit against S.M. Entertainment.

“螳螂拒轍 (It is like a fly trying to bite a tortoise). I am doing better, thanks to all your blessings. I would like to thank you for supporting me. I appreciate every voice you make. Wu yifan is always here,” Kris wrote in the autographed letter posted on Weibo on Friday. Wu yifan is Kris’ Chinese name.

The post has gained more than 80,000 responses, with the number growing rapidly.

The comment came after a Chinese online news outlet revealed that Kris had been diagnosed with myocarditis, a disease marked by inflammation of the heart muscle.

Fans of EXO are expressing mixed opinions about Kris’ decision, as the company has announced that EXO will carry through with its first concert in Seoul despite the “Kris crisis.” The remaining 11 members of the boy group are currently occupied with the rehearsals, according to the agency.

“We lost contact with Kris. We are unsure whether Kris will appear in the concert or not,” an S.M. official was quoted as saying.
