Special summer menu at Hyatt Regency Incheon

Restaurant 8 at Hyatt Regency Incheon presents its summer special menu from July 1 featuring health foods in Korean, Japanese and Chinese traditional style. The menus include croaker soup and duck boiled with nureungji (a thin crust of scorched rice); steamed Korean “ogol” chicken with pine mushrooms seasoned with XO sauce and cold noodles; and some of the most famous Japanese health foods: eel, roasted abalone, and sea urchin eggs. Jeju eungalchi promotion at the Ritz-Carlton, Seoul

For the month of July, Chee Hong, the Chinese restaurant at the hotel, will be serving seasonal dishes featuring fresh eungalchi (hairtail) from Jeju Island. It features two set menus: fried eungalchi in Sichuan style with sweet-and-sour sauce made of Sichuan chili and Chinese peppercorns; and eungalchi stew seasoned with variety of fried seafood, coriander and other Chinese herbs. ‘Delicious Canada’ at Lotte Hotel Seoul

The hotel’s buffet restaurant Le Seine is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between Korea and Canada with a special gourmet fair “Delicious Canada” from June 28 through July 13. During the period, La Seine will showcase a selection of food that uses premium Canadian ingredients. Menus will include seasoned ribs, tandoori skirt steak, premium sirloin steak, grilled lobster, snow crab salad, and blueberry waffles. Canadian beer Molson is also available during the event. Eco-friendly pool at JW Marriott Seoul

The hotel has reopened its indoor swimming pool complex with an array of eco-friendly features after being renovated by Italian company A&T Europe SpA. It was refurbished using recyclable materials as well as cutting-edge technology to achieve dramatic savings in water consumption. Also, it has eliminated the use of chemicals that sometimes irritate the skin. The extensive complex consists of a six-lane main pool, therapy pool, children’s pool, Jacuzzi and a scuba diving pool. Summer wine dinner at Grand Hyatt Seoul

The Paris Grill, the authentic European fine dining restaurant at the hotel, presents summer wine dinner “A Scent of Summer” from July 8 to Aug. 31. The restaurant has recently recruited renowned chef Marco Mehr from Switzerland as chef de cuisine. It will offer a special four-course dinner and complementary wines, specially arranged by the master chef and the hotel’s sommelier team. The menu selection will be updated every two weeks.
