JW Marriott Hotel Seoul serves summer ‘tonic’ dishes

The hotel’s authentic Chinese restaurant Man Ho is serving a variety of traditional East Asian “tonic” dishes, delicious healthy food made with premium fresh seafood ingredients such as eel, bass and five-spice abalone through Aug. 31. The restaurant presents two course menus: Menu A includes chicken salad, shark’s fin and vegetable soup, sea cucumber and broccoli, and bean and oxtail stew at 135,000 won, while Menu B consisting of mero soup, five-spice abalone, natural pine and sand mushrooms, and fried Korean beef with asparagus is available at 115,000 won. Peruvian food festival at Grand Hyatt Seoul

The hotel’s Terrace and the Peruvian Embassy in Korea will be co-hosting a “Peruvian Food Festival” from July 30 to Aug. 11. It will feature the authentic dishes of Peru and South America, prepared by the visiting native chefs. Peruvian cuisine incorporates Spanish, Japanese and Chinese influences reflecting Peru’s diverse culture. This promotion will include ceviche (lemon-ripened seafood), chicharrones (chewy pork rinds), aji de gallina (soft chicken breast with rice on top) and more. Lunch buffet is available at 70,000 won on weekdays and 72,000 won on weekends. Dinner Monday through Thursday is priced at 72,000 won and 78,500 won from Friday to Sunday. All prices include tax. Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas launches ‘Music Spa’ event

The hotel is hosting its first summer event “Music Spa” on Aug. 2 to help guests escape the summer heat. The event is ideally designed for those who seek a small getaway to relax and have some fun after work. All guests will receive two complimentary glasses of Suntory the Premium Malt’s pilsner and side snacks prepared by hotel chefs. Singaporean cuisine sizzles at Millennium Seoul Hilton

The hotel’s international buffet restaurant Orangerie presents a variety of authentic Singaporean cuisine for the month of August. In addition to its regular stations including made-to-order and Korean dishes, the promotional special menus offers chili crab, braised duck with soya sauce, chicken rice, and more. The lunch buffet is priced at 64,000 won for adults and 38,400 won for children aged 12 and under, while dinner is priced at 69,000 won for adults and 41,400 won for children. All prices include tax. Park Hyatt Seoul offers more homemade-style bingsu

The Lounge at the hotel presents new menus to its exclusive homemade-style bingsu selection. In addition to its traditional pat bingsu and berry bingsu, it now offers Jeju mango bingsu and bingsu Melba. Jeju mango bingsu is milk-based ice flakes layered with mango coulis sauce, big chunks of one whole Jeju Island banana mango, homemade mango sherbet, crispy and spicy crumbles, and soft coconut water jelly on the top. Meanwhile, bingsu Melba has a very rich, sweet and fruity taste of milk-based ice flakes layered with Melba sauce, white peaches, almond milk jelly flakes, Sicilian almonds, and cacao chocolate chips.
