Seoul International Women’s Association is holding a sign-up event for classes and enrichment groups in Yeoksam-dong on Jan. 26.

The dozens of different classes include language courses, bridge, dance, pottery and cooking. All classes are in English, and some require a 20,000 won deposit. There are also usually fees for the classes, which vary depending on the course.

Classes are open to SIWA members only. Those interested in joining can do so via www.siwapage.com or at the event itself.
The event runs 10 a.m. to noon at Renaissance Seoul Hotel and costs 15,000 won for admission.

SIWA is a social group for women from Korea and overseas and has been meeting for more than 50 years. Apart from classes it is involved in charity events, the main one being the SIWA Bazaar every autumn, and produces a magazine.

For more information and a more complete list of classes, visit the SIWA website or email coursecoordinator@siwapage.com.
