South Korean director Hong Sang-soo's new film, "A Traveler's Needs," will compete in the upcoming Berlin International Film Festival next month, the event's website showed Monday.
The film by Hong was among the 19 full-length titles announced on the website to compete in the 74th Berlin International Film Festival, scheduled to take place from Feb. 15-25.
The 31st feature film by Hong stars French actress Isabelle Huppert, alongside Korean actors and actresses such as Kwon Hae-hyo and Lee Hye-young.
Hong has won four silver bear awards from the event so far, starting with "On the Beach at Night Alone" in 2017, which earned its lead actress, Kim Min-hee, the Silver Bear for Best Actress.
At the 2022 festival, Hong received the Silver Bear Grand Jury Prize for his film "The Novelist's Film."
"A Traveler's Needs" marks Hong's third cinematic collaboration with Huppert, following the first film "In Another Country" in 2012 and "Claire's Camera" in 2018. (Yonhap)
