“Trd th nw Twttr yt? Mr tm fr mr twts” (해석: “Tried the new Twitter yet? More time for more tweets”)라는 문구를 띄우면서 모음을 쓰고 싶으면 프리미엄 등록을 해 매월 5달러씩 지불하라고 공지했다.

Internet giants pull pranks on April Fools’ Day
Major Internet sites such as Youtube, Google, and Twitter have fooled their users with witty gags on the most mischievous day of the year.
On the first day of April, Youtube, the world’s largest video site, announced it will shut down the site for the next 10 years in order to pick out the best video registered on the website in the past eight years.
“We are close to the end. Tonight at midnight, youtube.com will no longer be accepting entries. After eight amazing years, it is finally time to review everything that has been uploaded to our site and begin the process of selecting a winner,” said Tim Liston who introduced him as a “competition director.”
Google also revealed a newly updated search engine which claimed to provide an olfactory database. The bogus update supposedly allows users to search smells like “new car smell,” or “Egyptian tomb” which they can sniff through the monitor and also share with friends.
Twitter said it will eliminate all vowels to speed up tweeting. “Trd th nw Twttr yt? Mr tm fr mr twts” (Translation: “Tried the new Twitter yet? More time for more tweets”) showed up on the website with a note saying vowels will only be available to premium users who have to pay five dollars a month.
Aside from the big-scale pranks, South Africa’s newspaper Daily Maverick and Germany’s news website Tagesschau.de reported false stories about North Korea in a bid to bamboozle their readers.
