성공적인 대화에 대한 나의 의견

경청은 인간이 지닐 수 있는 가장 재능있는 능력 중의 하나이다. 듣기는 지혜를 갖게 하고 인간의 이해력 향상시키다. 경청은 화자가 무엇에 대해 말하는지를 파악하는데 도움이 되고, 침묵은 화자에 대한 존중을 나타낸다. 어떤 사람이 당신을 비난한다면, 당신은 그 사람의 말에 귀를 기울일 준비가 되어있어야 한다. 그의 주장이 합당하면 받아들이는 것이 좋다. 그의 주장이 합당하지 않는 경우, 당신은 논쟁하고 당신의 행동을 정당화할 수 있다. 다른 사람의 견해를 듣는 것이 당신의 견해를 제시하는 것 보다 중요하다고 생각한다.
