Cha Eunwoo of Astro floated teaser video for his upcoming first solo album on Friday.

The singer and actor demonstrates his acting chops in the 50-second clip, driving a car in the rain before lighting up a cigarette with tears in his eyes.

The clip also unveiled the title of the solo album: “Entity.”

Cha recently finished shooting the music video for the album in Los Angeles, according to his agency Fantagio. He was recently spotted with American actor India Eisley, sparking rumors of romance, but he turned out to have been filming it with her.

The album is due out on Feb. 15. Cha will perform all the songs from the album on stage at a solo fan concert in Seoul on Feb. 17.

Cha is also set to star in drama series “Wonderful World,” which starts airing March 1.

Blackpink tops 500m views on ‘Kill This Love’ dance video

Blackpink’s performance video for “Kill This Love” amassed 500 million views on YouTube on Thursday, YG Entertainment announced Friday.

It is the group’s 16th video to reach the milestone and third dance practice video to do so, after those of “How You Like That” and Lisa’s solo “Money.” The foursome is the first K-pop act to have three dance videos achieve the feat.

“Kill This Love” is Blackpink’s megahit from 2019 that ranked No. 41 on Billboard’s Hot 100. The title track from the EP also claimed the No. 24 spot on the Billboard 200. Both were a record for a K-pop girl group at the time.

The music video for “Kill This Love” was the only K-pop entry on YouTube’s Ten Most Viewed Music Video in 2019.

Twice drops English-language single

Twice has released the English-language single “I Got You,” according to label JYP Entertainment on Friday.

The prerelease is from the group’s 13th EP “With YOU-th” that will be rolled out on Feb. 23, about a year since its previous EP, “Ready To Be.” The last mini album hit the Billboard 200 at No. 2, while “Moonlight Sunrise,” an English-language single released in advance, made Billboard’s Hot 100 at No. 84.

The nonet’s first entry on the main songs chart was “The Feels,” the group's first song in English, which was followed by “Moonlight Sunrise.” Expectations are high for the new single based on the previous success.

Meanwhile, Twice will resume fifth international tour “Ready To Be” in Mexico City on Friday. After two days of concerts in the Mexican capital, the girl group heads to Brazil before leaving for Las Vegas next month.

Cravity to bring out 7th EP next month

Boy band Cravity will release its seventh EP, “Evershine,” on Feb. 26, according to agency Starship Entertainment on Thursday.

The mini album comes about five months since the previous EP, “Sun Seeker,” which sold more than 270,000 copies in the first week, a record for the band.

The nine bandmates hinted at the new album last month in the final episode of their original show, “Vity Park.” After playing a game, they said that they will be back after promoting the new album.

The band met fans in Japan in time for Christmas last year at a fan meetup held in Yokohama for two days, after releasing the group's first EP in the country, “Dally Dally.”
