Ive will host fan meetups in Seoul on March 9 and 10, Starship Entertainment announced Monday.

The second day’s live event will be broadcast online as well.

The poster for the fan meeting was themed after the office of a fashion magazine, as the title “Magazine Ive” suggests, and showed the six bandmates in roles such as an editor and a photographer.

The idols said they were happy and excited to meet fans at the event through the agency, adding they are preparing a lot to create many good memories.

They are in the middle of their first international tour, “Show What I Have,” which launched in Seoul in October. The tour will bring the six to 27 cities across Asia, America, Europe and Australia.

Hwang Minhyun to greet fans next month

Hwang Minhyun will meet fans in Seoul from March 8-10, according to agency Pledis Entertainment on Tuesday.

The singer and actor will host the “Oath of the Peach Garden” meetups, inspired by the name of his official fandom community “Hwangdo,” or "Golden Peach," reassuring fans they will be together forever.

Last year from August to December the artist toured seven cities in Asia, from Seoul to Tokyo, for his first solo standalone concerts, performing songs from his first solo album -- EP “Truth or Lie” -- that came out in February last year.

Meanwhile, Hwang will also star as the male lead in drama series “Study Group,” to start airing in the latter half of this year.

Fantasy Boys cinch deal in Japan

Rookie band Fantasy Boys signed with Nippon Columbia recently, agency Pocket Doll Studio said Tuesday.

The Japanese label offered a deal saying that the band had the greatest potential among rookie musicians, it added.

The 11-member act was formed through “Boy Fantasy,” the second season of a reality competition that aired last year. The group debuted in September last year with the EP “New Tomorrow” and dropped second EP “Potential” two months later. The debut album sold more than 130,000 copies in the first week.

In December, the bandmates held a concert in Tokyo. Fans from Japan asked for the official release of their hit songs in their language, but instead Fantasy Boys gifted the audience with exclusive CDs with Japanese-language versions of “New Tomorrow” and “One Shot.”

Ateez’s Mingi drops solo song

Mingi of Ateez unveiled the music video for his first self-written song, “Tunnel,” via the band’s YouTube channel, agency KQ Entertainment announced Tuesday.

"Tunnel" is the first track from Mingi's “Desire Project,” which is to feature songs he wrote himself.

Mingi, along with band leader Hongjoong, participated in writing a series of songs for the eight-piece act, including “Youth,” which he wrote and sang together with Yoonho. “Youth” is one of the 12 tracks from second studio album “The World Ep. Fin: Will,” which debuted atop the Billboard 200 and stayed on the chart six weeks in a row.

In the meantime, the band wrapped up the Japanese leg of its world tour over the weekend. On Feb. 28, the group will release its third single in the country, “Not Okay.”
