[THE INVESTOR] Sejung Group chairman Park Soon-ho’s daughter Park I-ra, 38, has been promoted to chief operating officer and executive vice president at her father’s fashion empire.
According to the group on July 1, the junior Park will also serve as head of the group’s apparel distributor Sejung & Future.
Established in 1974, Sejung has a stronghold in women’s apparel and is one of the leading second-tier clothing firms in the country.

Park, the chairman’s third daughter, entered the group in 2005 and served diverse positions such as branding strategy chief.
Since taking the helm of Sejung & Future, she launched men’s clothing brand Chris-Christy in 2007 and led the renewal of flagship casual clothing brand NII in 2010.
More recently in 2013, she also led the successful launch of high-end jewelry brand Didier Dubot that has entered China and other overseas markets.
