3 missing firefighters at Pyeongtaek warehouse fire scene found dead
Three firefighters were killed while battling a warehouse blaze in Pyeongtaek on Thursday as authorities were still struggling to bring the fire under control after over 12 hours, officials said. Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co. said Thursday it has received a 502 billion won ($420 million) liquefied natural gas (LNG) ship order in Greece. Military reports 16 more COVID-19 cases
South Korea's military on Thursday reported 16 additional COVID-19 cases, including 14 breakthrough infections, raising the total caseload among its personnel to 3,376. Of the new cases, six are from the Army, six from the Air Force and four from units under the direct control of the defense ministry. Currently, 221 military personnel are under treatment.
