Hanwha Eagles’ first baseman Kim Tae-kyun is the highest-paid pro baseball player in Korea this year, according to statistics released by the Korea Baseball Organization last Thursday.Kim’s annual contract with the Eagles landed him a 1.6 billion won ($1.3 million) salary.
