Hanmi posts steep profit drop in 2016 due to reduced licensing deals

South Korean drugmaker Daewoong Pharmaceutical has received the highest number of regulatory approvals for carrying out clinical trials of its drugs in 2016, industry data showed Tuesday. South Korean biopharmaceutical company Green Cross said Friday that it posted a record high revenue of 1.19 trillion won ($1.04 billion) in 2016, up 14.3 percent from the year before.
