[단독] 삼성전자 갤럭시S5, 3월 27일 출시
삼성전자의 갤럭시 S5 국내 출시일이 이번달 말로 앞당겨진다. 24일 SK텔레콤 관계자는 4월 11일로 예정되어있던 갤럭시 S5의 출시일을 3월 27일로 앞당긴다고 전했다. SK텔레콤이 영업을 하는 시기에 맞춰 출시하기 위함이다. 이 SK텔레콤 관계자는 “4월 5일 이후에 출시할 경우, KT와 LG유플러스 만으로는 시장에 대한 영향력이 적다고 판단되었기 때문”이라고 전했다.또한 삼성측 관계자도 “삼성전자가 글로벌 업체이지만 한국을 기반으로 하고 있는 만큼 국내 1위 이통사인 SK텔레콤을 무시할 수는 없다”면서 “이 때문에 SK텔레콤 영업정지가 시작되는 다음달 5일 이전으로 출시일을 앞당기는 방안을 검토 중”이라고 말했다. 업계 관계자는 “갤럭시S5의 해외 출시일에도 영향을 미칠 수 있을 것”이라고 전했다.(코리아헤럴드 신지혜 기자, 김영원기자)<관련 영문기사>Galaxy S5 to be unveiled on March 27Samsung Electronics, the nation’s

LG전자 무안경 3D TV 양산 3년 걸려
LG전자의 무안경 3D TV가 3년 후 양산될 것으로 예상된다. LG전자의 방영운 상무는 지난 목요일 UHD 컨퍼런스가 끝나고 기자와 만나 “현재 기술 수준을 고려할 때 양산까지 3년 소요될 것” 이라며 “현재 시중에 나와있는 무안경 3D TV는 정면에서만 볼 수 있기 때문에 진정한 3D TV가 아니다” 라고 말했다. 정부는 2011년 스마트 미디어 시대에 대비하기 위해 무안경 3D TV, 차세대 스마트TV 등 유망미디어 기술개발에 총 1984억 원을 투자했다. 이 국가과제는 2015년을 상용화를 목표로 2014년에 과제가 종료된다. 무안경 3D TV의 상용화가 늦어진 점에 대해서 미래부 전파정책기획과는 “관련 코덱, 압축 그리고 플랫폼 네트워크 관련 기술은 ETRI를 통해 거의 완성 되었다. 하지만 디스플레이 등 다른 기술이 좀 더 시간이 소요될 것으로 보인다” 라고 말했다. 한국투자증권의 유종우 연구원도 무안경 3D TV의 양산을 위해서는 “매우 높은 수준의 해상도가 필요하다”라

삼성전자 기어2, 갤S5 가격 확정
삼성전자가 웨어러블 기기인 삼성 기어2와 기어 핏의 가격을 확정했다. 삼성이 어제 대만에서 공개한 기어2와 기어 핏의 가격은 각각 $295(약 31만원)와 $197(약21만원)이다. 기어2의 가격은 전작인 갤럭시 기어의 $300보다 약간 낮은 수준이다. 삼성전자는 지난 2월 스페인 바르셀로나에서 열린 MWC에서 갤럭시 기어 후속작인 스마트워치 삼성 기어2와 스마트 밴드 기어 핏을 선보였다. 두 스마트 기기는 전 세계에 4월 11일 출시 될 예정이다. 보급형 스마트워치인 스마트 기어 네오의 가격은 아직 확정 되지 않았지만, $200 중반으로 출시 될 전망이다. 또한 삼성전자는 기어2의 새로운 모델인 USIM이 장착된 스마트워치를 출시 할 예정으로 알려졌다.
