앰네스티 "북한 5년 연속 사형 집행"
인권단체 국제앰네스티가 북한을 2011년 이후 5년 연속 사형을 집행한 11개국 가운데 하나로 지목했다고 미국의소리(VOA) 방송이 7일 보도했다.앰네스티는 6일 발표한 연례 보고서에서 "북한에 대한 정보를 독자적으로 확인할 수는 없지만 여러 범죄에 대해 사형 선고를 내리고 실제로 집행하고 있음을 시사하는 보도가 접수되고 있다"며 이같이 밝혔다. (연합)앰네스티는 이와 관련 지난해 5월과 8일 각각 보도된 현영철 인민무력부장과 최영건 내각 부총리의 처형 소식 등을 예로 들었다고 VOA는 전했다.앰네스티 키아라 산조르지오 연구원은 VOA와 전화에서 "북한 당국이 사형을 남발하고 있다. 국제법상 사형에 해당하지 않는 범죄에 대해서도 사형을 선고ㆍ집행한다"며 "사형 집행에 이르는 북한의 재판도 매우 불공정하다"고 지적했다.그는 이어 "이런 행태는 북한에서 자행되는 중대한 인권 침해의 빙산의 일각에 불과하다"면서 "북한 당국은 즉각 사형 집행을 중단해야 한다"고 촉구했다. 북한-홍콩 교역 규모, 김정은 집권 후 해마다 급감
북한과 홍콩간 교역 규모가 김정은 국방위원회 제1위원장의 집권 이후 해마다 대폭 감소한 것으로 나타났다고 미국 자유아시아방송(RFA)이 7일 보도했다.RFA에 따르면 코트라(KOTRA) 홍콩무역관은 홍콩무역발전국의 통계를 인용해 지난해 홍콩과 북한의 교역 총액이 648만 달러로 지난 2014년의 1천87만 달러보다 40.4%나 줄었다고 밝혔다.두 나라간 교역액은 2012년 6천307만 달러, 2013년 2천699만 달러 등으로 공교롭게도 김 제1위원장의 집권(2011년 12월) 이후 해를 거듭할수록 급감하는 모습이다.RFA는 이런 추세의 원인에 대한 설명은 내놓지 않았다. "北 평양 인터넷 6일 밤 3시간 먹통"
