전문가들 “손지창, 테슬라에 승소 가능성 커”...도요타 합의 주목
[더인베스터(코리아헤럴드)=안성미기자] 배우 손지창씨가 미국서 테슬라를 상대로 급발진 소송을 진행중인 가운데 전문가들은 손씨가 승소할 가능성이 크다는 의견을 내놨다. 김필수 대림대학교 자동차학과 교수는 “아직 영상이 공개되지 않아 섣부르게 판단할 순 없지만 사고 요건들만 보면 테슬라 모델X에 기술적 결함 가능성이 있다”며 설명했다. 일론 머스크 테슬라 CEO가 모델X를 소개하고 있다. (블룸버그)그는 “100% 출력이 가해졌을 때 자동제동장치 (automatic emergency braking)가 해제되는 것은 잘못된 기능”이라고 지적하며 급발진 여부를 떠나 테슬라로서는 상당한 결함이라고 덧붙였다. 특히 업계에서는 이번 소송이 소비자 권리를 중시하는 미국에서 진행된다는 점에 주목하고 있다. 한 업계 관계자는 “한국서는 자동차 결함을 운전자가 직접 밝혀야 하지만 미국은 그 책임이 제조사에게 있어 소비자에게 유리하다”며 “원인이 밝혀지지 않더라도 중간에 합의하는 경우가 많다”고

Hyundai Glovis Q3 operating profit up 3%
[THE INVESTOR] Hyundai Glovis, Hyundai Motor Group’s logistics arm, posted 183.5 billion won (US$160.80 million) in operating profit in the third quarter, the company said in a regulatory filing on Oct. 27. BMW recalls 23 models in Korea on faulty emissions-control devices
