Hyundai Rotem suspended from bidding for government contracts
[DISCLOSURE] Hyundai Rotem (064350) has been suspended from participating in bids of public institutions in Korea for 10 months, it announced on June 23. It was deemed as an improper contractor for breach of contract. Its sales revenue loss is estimated to be 1.1 trillion won (US$935.6 million) and the railway systems company will file for suspension of execution for administrative disposition.

Hyundai Securities transfers entire stake of its own to KB Financial Group
[DISCLOSURE] Hyundai Securities (003450) will transfer entire stake of its own to KB Financial Group for 107.1 billion won (US$93.4 million), it announced on June 23. When the transfer of 16,715,870 stocks (7.06 percent) is completed on June 24, the financial group’s stake in the securities firm will increase to 29.62 percent.

Hanjin Shipping liquidates Chinese affiliate shares worth US$18.2m
[DISCLOSURE] Hanjin Shipping (117930) has decided to sell share of its Chinese affiliate Shandong Hanjin Logistics worth 9.5 billion won (US$8.3 million) to secure liquidity, it announced on June 24. The shipping company will also sell its shares of Dalian Hantong Logistics and Shanghai Hanjin Freight & Transportation, worth 2.6 billion won and 8.8 billion won respectively, it announced in separate statements.
