화산재 속 ‘거대 사람’...대재앙 징조?
지난 22일 42년 만에 폭발한 칠레 칼부코 화산에서 뿜어져 나온 화산재 속에 거대한 사람 형상이 화제다. (유튜브)지역주민이 찍은 것으로 알려진 이 사진에는 거대한 화산재 기둥이 하늘 위로 뻗고 있다. 이 화산재 기둥을 자세히 보면 마치 거대한 사람이 도시를 향해 다가오는 것으로 보이는데 지역주민들은 이것이 신의 계시라고 생각한다고 한다. 외신에 따르면 이 사진을 본 지역주민들은 화산재 속에 사람이 두려움에 눈을 질끈 감은 것처럼 보인다, 혹은 화산폭발은 신의 노여움의 표시라는 등의 반응을 보이고 있다고 한다.

대지진 여파 ‘에베레스트 눈사태’ 영상, 공포의 순간 포착
독일 산악인이 공개한 네팔 대지진으로 발생한 히말라야 눈사태 영상이 화제다. 독일 산악인이라고 자신을 소개한 요스트 코부시는 27일 유튜브에 2분 30초가량의 영상을 올렸다. (유튜브)영상은 일상적인 베이스캠프모습으로 시작하지만, 곧 사람들이 다급히 뛰기 시작하고 카메라를 든 이도 뛰기 시작한다. 그는 “땅이 지진 때문에 흔들렸고, 사람들은 뛰기 시작했고 우리도 목숨을 살리지 위해 뛰었다”라고 전했다. 이어 카메라는 마구 흔들렸고 주변은 온통 흰색으로 뒤덮인다. 촬영자와 일행은 텐트 안으로 몸을 피했고 눈사태가 지나가자 몸은 눈으로 뒤덮인 사람들이 몸을 추스르며 끝난다.

MRI로 성관계 촬영...왜?
과학을 위해 촬영된 한 성관계 영상이 논란이 되고 있다. (유튜브)외신에 따르면 해당 영상은 최신 자기공명영상(MRI) 기기를 이용해서 촬영되어 과학적인 목적을 가지고 있지만 내용이 적나라하게 보일 수 있다. 유튜브에 올라온 영상을 확인 한 결과 MRI 기계 내부에서 한 연인이 키스하는 장면부터 더 진한 스킨십까지를 기록용으로 저장해 보여주고 있다. 의학적인 기록물이기는 하지만 인체 내부가 자세히 보이는 만큼 해당 영상의 공개는 논란의 소지가 있다는 지적이다. 하지만 영국일간지 미러 (Mirror)에 따르면 이 영상은 오로지 과학을 위해 촬영된 것이고, 성관계 시 인체 내부를 들여다보는 것은 과학 발전에 이바지를 한다고 전했다.
